#R2BC Tuesday’s #GoodNews
Sometimes I get asked why I’ve picked a particular story as it doesn’t immediately grab someone as being positive. I can imagine the news about Maelbeek Station being one of those stories, with the memories of the terrorist attacks still being fresh in people’s minds. For me, it’s the fact that the station has re-opened, and not only that but the memorial wall is dedicated to messages of hope. When I started Reasons to be Cheerful as a personal project, it wasn’t to deny that bad things happened or that there is pain in the world, but to say that the positive and good things happening deserve to be more of a priority on the News and in our lives.
So whether you’re taking giant slide rides, or investigating lost cave systems in far off jungles enjoy the good that’s out there to be had. Enjoy the ride…
