Welcome to Tuesday. Don’t worry, the Revelations title isn’t about some religious meanderings but a reference to Iron Maiden receiving the Silver Clef for Outstanding Contribution to Music at this year’s Nordoff Robbins Awards.

I’ve been a Maiden fan for more years than I care to remember, probably first inspired by the use of Phantom of the Opera in a Lucozade ad with Daley Thompson. Part of me was considering putting up the Nomad but shelving my ego for a moment here’s one of my favourite songs, fronted by a quote from one of my favourite poets, on one of the first CDs I ever bought.
