Big move by Vodafone today, with an offer including a minimum of 16 weeks fully-paid maternity leave, plus a 30-hour week on full pay for the first six months for new mothers returning to work. If that wasn’t enough this will be Global Maternity Equality, so for all their staff around the world, representing a big jump compared to the statutory minimums in many of the countries that they operate. A pioneering move by Vodafone to say the least.
