I have always had a passion for new technologies and the world’s they open up to us. Not only the new world’s of space, other dimensions, virtual and augmented realities; but, just as important, the greater understanding of the mundane and the things we often take for granted.
Last year, we started to see some amazing efforts to use modern technology to save and even recreate amazing cultural artefacts that might otherwise be lost or destroyed. Closer to home we have seen an amazing project which is now allowing the creation of a whole host of educational games and augmented and virtual tours around the iconic Forth Bridge in Scotland.
