#R2BC Tuesday’s #GoodNews
Now, I’ll be the 1st to admit that I’m not an Association Football fan. Soccer just doesn’t do it for me and never really had. Even the sight of the England team in international competition does little to rouse my enthusiasm; while I can accept people being passionate about their sport, the level of the, occasionally zealot like, loyalty of many fans confuses me no end. However, the news all too often shows stories about violent, drunken fans causing chaos; so I am more than pleasantly surprised to see 2 stories about fans doing things the right way. The video above of Republic of Ireland fans singing lullabies to a baby on a train near Bordeaux. Welsh police officers out in France have also praised the well behaved Wales fans after their 3-0 victory over Russia put them top of their qualifying group. So credit, where credit is due.
If I have a favourite story today, it would have to be that the recipient of a transplanted women is about to become a mum again. I’m a sucker for redemption and 2nd chance stories so this is definitely at the top of my list today.
Enjoy, and please remember to share the positive things in life:
