#R2BC Monday’s #GoodNews – To the Moon Alice!
On R2BC, Monday tends, unsurprisingly, to have a heavy sporting flavour. With so much of the sports news focusing on the Rugby World Cup or the soap opera of the Premier League it may seem that British sports fans have nothing to smile about; oh, how wrong we are:
- British Track Cyclists see Gold in Switzerland
- Brit wins Squash US Open
- Silver at World TKD Grand Prix for GB’s Muhammad
- Sullivan wins Portuguese Masters
- Davies claims 2nd Euro Table Tennis Gold
- Swimming Marathon World Cup Gold
While the sports news is brilliant one story has stood out for me and that’s the plan for a joint Euro-Russian Mission to assess the possibility of a permanent settlement on the Moon. As a Sci-Fi fan it’s great to be living in the future. 🙂
Enjoy the good news 🙂
