Live Action Roleplaying or LARP has been part of my life fro almost 20 years. An amazing hobby, involving pure escapism and the making of a great many lifelong friends. This weekend was the annual UK LARP Awareness & UK LARP Awards Convention in Leicester and a chance to meet up with friends, share stories and set plans for new and exciting adventures.

While the weekend has certainly left me grinning, it’s great to wake up on Monday and see that, while my weekend may have been filled with a great many heroes that there are plenty in the real world as well.
