#R2BC Monday’s #GoodNews – Artful
Fans of Silicon Nomad will know that I’m a sucker for great art, especially after last week’s post about Henry Moore. This week is no exception with a Gauguin making a record breaking $300m at auction, an unknown work by Vivaldi getting its World Premier and a copy of the Magna Carta worth £10m found in a scrapbook.
In terms of other wonders, while England still celebrates it’s victory over the Welsh there have been some amazing sporting stories this weekend:
- England thrash Windies in World Cup Warm-Up
- Yarnold Crowned European Skeleton Champion
- Christie grabs Speed Skating World Cup Silver
- Cavendish seals Tour of Dubai Victory
- Matthew retains Swedish Open Title
I hope these little stories help brighten your day and make the coming week easier.
Have fun and remember to share your smiles and good news.
