#R2BC Monday’s #GoodNews – Happy Australia Day
Apologies for the delay in R2BC, but with a big enough time difference…
Happy Australia Day.
Living in the UK, the New Year and Queen’s Birthday Honours List can sometimes feel like a mystery.
Knighthoods, Damehoods, CBEs, OBEs, MBEs, GCGs, KMCGs, and the rest of alphabet, mixed with a long list of the famous, not so famous, deserving and undeserving can often feel disconnected from the day-to-day lives of the rest of us. On Australian Day, Rosie Batty, Domestic Violence Campaigner, is named Australian of the Year. While I love tradition, there is a simple beauty to being selected as the best of us. 🙂
I hope in these stories you find something to make you better, stronger and more hopeful. 🙂
