Interesting Debate about Acceptable use of language in #Sports

Having played American Football in the UK for many years I have to say I’m a massive fan of the officials having the option to ‘flag’, abusive language and behaviour. Much in the same way that in Rugby only the captain should speak to the referee and will always speak with respect and call them ‘Sir’.

Passions get high in sports but the key to winning is about being in control.
But the discussion as to whether certain terms should be considered offensive is definitely worth a look.
