Travels of a Silicon Nomad 
We need to bring the sport into schools. At first, introducing flag or touch football. This would grow interest tremendously and create the possibility of a grass roots system that nurtures young talent when it’s at its most captive.
To be fair efforts have been made to introduce flag to schools for years. IME most teams in the UK tend to get more recruits by having solid youth programmes as flag tends to be seen as a sport in itself rather than a route into the kitted game.
