#R2BC Tuesday’s Good News Digest – Pretty Good for a Tuesday
A pleasant surprise today with a nice comment from the guys of at the Iran English Radio Blog. I’ve been following these guys for a little while now (some of you may have seen <a href="https://siliconnomad.wordpress.com/2013/11/04/copy-of-sadi-anthology-up-for-unesco-registration/" target="_blank" yesterday's="" re-blog). In a country that is often spoken of as some dark place thousands of miles away, it’s good to be reminded of the beauty that comes out of Persia and that the people there are more than the simple stories we see on the news. 🙂
A couple of weeks ago I shared the news that Primark increasing payments to workers in Bangladesh. Well this week sees Bangladesh seeking a dramatic increase in workers’ wages and hopefully also their standard of living. As we see one step toward equality there we see that the US Senate is backing a Gay Rights Bill.Pretty good for a Tuesday.
