#R2BC Friday’s Good News Digest – Honours Even
Today, a great many British services personel will get to meet her majesty the Queen to receive honours for acts of great gallantry.
I know there are plenty of people out there who don’t like the armed services and yes, it would be nice to live in a world where people didn’t need to be protected by police or soldiers etc. The sad truth is that we don’t but these men and women are an example of the amazing things people will do to help protect their friends, family or to protect an ideal. Like reservist Ben Taylor who spent over 40 minutes repeatedly diving underwater to rescue his mates from an overturned vehicle that was trapped under water. It can take a lot to stand up for what you believe in so I hope these stories help inspire you this coming weekend.
Be brave, be bold. 🙂
